STANDARD PACKAGE: £80 a month

BASIC PACKAGE: £50 a month

1:1 consultation in person or via Zoom. In-person FTP test. Monthly training plan with monthly changes. Monday to Friday communication, 10 am-5 pm. Coach to client monthly review. Training peaks basic account.

Training is something that is so self-defined and has a massive focus on your physiological build-up. And that is why I am focused on the idea that I want to test you in person, which is part of the consultation process. I am lucky enough to be based at CORE Bike Fit in Topsham, Exeter so have the space and facilities to test and review in person, making the experience more focussed on getting you started in the best and most accurate way.

NUTRITION packages

Fuelling pre, during and post-event is vital to ensure you peak for the day and recover to do it again the next day.

Below are some nutrition packages for those people who are looking to optimise their event nutrition or day-to-day diet guidance.

I am lucky enough to work with CORE Bike Fit in Topsham, Devon.

This is where all in-person testing and consultations will take place. Luckily enough for you, that means there is the ability to have a chat regarding any of the packages I offer and then book to have a bike fit at the same time.

PErformance testing

As humans, we are all different and we all have different starting points and goals. Finding the most accurate way to get your starting point is vital and there are various methods which vary in accuracy.

We can all do an FTP or ramp test at home, but having someone there pushing you can cheering you on can give you that little edge to push a bit more. I am lucky enough to be able to offer in-person testing at varying levels.

LACTATE THRESHOLD TEST AND ZONE SETTING: £COMING SOON

Lactate appears in the blood during moderate to high-intensity exercise. Lactate Threshold Testing identifies the relationship between exercise intensity and blood lactate concentration. Lactate threshold testing identifies 2 main lactate thresholds:

  • Lactate Threshold 1 – where blood lactate begins to rise above resting levels.

  • Lactate Threshold 2 – where blood lactate rises rapidly due to increased anaerobic metabolism.

The data collected from the Lactate Threshold Test will be used to accurately set your training zones with corresponding heart rate and power values. If you do any sort of training using power or heart rate zones, then Lactate Testing is the most accurate way to ensure you are maximising your training time.

FULL FRONTAL 4DP TEST AND ZONE SETTING: £15

Four-Dimensional Power tests (4DP®) use four key performance metrics:

Neuromuscular Power (NM) 5-second max sprint. Maximal Aerobic Power (MAP) 5-minute effort Functional Threshold Power (FTP) 20-minute effort Anaerobic Capacity (AC) 1-minute effort.

Doing these efforts in this order allows the metric to be accurate to your fatigue. Whereas other FTP and ramp tests take your 20-minute effort and use a calculation to get your result, the 4DP test takes your actual 20-minute effort as the results for the other efforts are taken into account to give you an overview of your 4 metrics and gives you a rider identity depending on your result.

 

Event prep package

An event can be the big day you have been training hard for or it can be a spontaneous group event. But either way, it can be a daunting feeling and this package is to ask questions and get a breakdown for the big day.
